Recognition at the TMT Finance Awards USA 2026 highlights I Squared’s investment in Brazil’s digital infrastructure.

I Squared Capital’s acquisition of a majority stake in Elea Data Centers has been named LatAm Deal of the Year at the TMT Finance Awards USA 2026. Presented on October 7 in New York, the awards recognize achievements in digital infrastructure dealmaking and investment.

Elea is one of Brazil’s largest carrier-neutral data center platforms, with nine interconnected campuses serving enterprise and hyperscale customers. Powered entirely by renewable energy, its network provides infrastructure to support growing demand for cloud computing and artificial intelligence in Latin America’s largest data center market.

I Squared’s investment supports Elea’s expansion and the development of large-scale, high-density AI infrastructure across Brazil. Working alongside Elea’s founder-led management team and long-term partner Piemonte Holding, I Squared is bringing its global infrastructure experience to the platform’s next phase of growth. The investment extends the firm’s presence in Latin America, where we have been investing since 2015.
