I Squared Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Cashion as a Managing Director. In this role, Joe will support the firm’s InfraTech investment strategy and focus on deepening the firms ties with investors and investment opportunities in Canada and beyond.

Joe brings over two decades of experience across venture capital, private equity, and public sector leadership. He joins I Squared from Prism Global Management, a global cross-over investment firm, where he was a Partner. He has also served as a Venture Partner at I Squared’s InfraTech Fund, playing a key role in deal origination, portfolio strategy, investment management, and fundraising.

Joe brings a wide range of experience in policy and business and offers a unique global perspective to I Squared. He has been a trusted advisor and investor in disruptive technologies and infrastructure-focused companies. He has held investment leadership roles at Lake Bridge Capital and Northwater Capital, in addition to operating and advisory roles at Shasta Ventures, NTR plc and Tessera Solar, among others. His expertise spans investment strategy, portfolio management, and capital raising across multiple industries, including energy transition, AI, enterprise SaaS, and sustainable infrastructure.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from McGill University.
